The Milky Way students worked very hard this week during their Music lessons and Christmas show practice time. Friday’s rehearsal was a big success as well and the students were complimented for their performance of the musical. They also got the chance to see the changing rooms that they will be using at the Performing arts center and were very exciting to see other classes’ rehearsals as well. They will all do their best on next Friday so please cheer them on for their performance.
The students learned more about arts this week as well, trying to draw their own comic books, learning about the ideas behind some works of art and making a tree out of cardboard as part of the Christmas show stage preparation.
In Math they learned about Venn diagrams and in English they wrote about their opinions on the Christmas show.
Will next week be very snowy? Nevertheless, let’s look forward to the performance together.
