Milky Way students had another very exciting week.
This week they have started a new unit which focuses on artforms and expressing feelings, emotions and ideas through art. Everyone had fun portraying different emotions and learning about characteristics of folktale storybooks, ballet, drawing, architecture and other forms of art.
In Math, the children have fully mastered the concept of ordinal numbers and have started work on understanding number place value. The „Place Value Song“ is everyone’s favourite song right now! In English phonics, they have learned about the Ch- and Sh- sounds.
Can you pronounce „The chicks chirp and the children chit chat“ perfectly?
Thursday’s field trip to the Skypark was unfortunately cancelled due to bad weather, but everyone had fun having a picnic and eating their bentos inside. All of the bentos were very creative!
In looking forward to next week’s Halloween party, the cup spiders were completed and the Halloween songs were practiced to perfection. We hope everyone’s prepared their costumes!
