Milky Way Oct. 2nd to 6th

The previous week was, as usual, very eventful for Milky Way.
During Math, the students started learning about 2D and 3D shapes through games, drawing and creating their own shapes out of paper. Everyone’s favourite activity was Thursday’s kite-making. Unfortunately, there was no wind, so the weather didn’t allow the kites to fly very high, but everyone was excited to show their kites to their friends.

During the IB studies this week, the focus was put on the children’s responsibilities as part of a team and in the class and school environment. They enjoyed learning about team sports and the importance of teamwork in everyday life. The students were happy to recollect their memories of working as part of a relay team at the Sports Festival.

They also learned about the nutritional value of food and choosing the food that is best for them.
Additionally, even though the Sports festival has just finished, the preparations for both the Halloween Party and the Christmas Party are well underway. The students are looking forward to performing a Halloween song for their parents and classmates and it is a very funny one.
Everyone will try their best to practice it through the following weeks as well.
