Shooting Star has enjoyed the week of changes;
teacher changing from Ms. Annette to Ms. Bon,
daily routine changes, such as less free play and more learning,
getting excited with new songs and dances,
and more!!
Even through those main changes the children felt and gone through, they have done a great job this week!
SS continued putting effort in our practice for the last presentation for this school year. Ms. Bon and Ms. Sayo have discussed with the children about the manners on the presentation. How we greet our parents, why do we have to stand still in front of audience, and how we need to speak out and behave. It seems to be a little bit difficult for them to behave in front of everyone, especially their parents, but we will keep trying our best!
The children were more excited as the Halloween Party day comes just in a few days.
The school and staff members appreciate all of the families for making the Halloween Party a wonderful one this year! Thank you very much. The children looked very pretty and cool in their special costumes.
今週のSSは、たくさんの変化の中一生懸命に活動する日々でした。
まず、月曜日にはアネット先生が休暇帰国前の最終日で、火曜日からはボン先生がメインティーチャーとして入ってくれました。
一日の活動で、フリープレー時間が大幅に少なくなり、フォニックスやプレゼンテーション練習の時間による学びの時間が多くなったこと。
ボン先生が教えてくれる、楽しくて子どもたちも大はしゃぎな歌やダンスがたくさんあること。
などなど・・・楽しいこともあり、大変だけれど新しい学びあり、そんな日々を送っていく子どもたちの今後の成長が楽しみです。
11月2日は今年度最後のプレゼンテーションです。午後の空いている時間はほぼプレゼンテーションの練習時間。
なかなかビシッと立って発表することがまだ少し難しいSSの子どもたち・・・。特にお母さんやお父さんの前になるとふにゃっとしてしまったりしてしまうそうです。練習の時からしっかりと立つ、大きな声で話す、などオーディエンスの前での振舞い方などマナーを確認しながら、練習しています。
10月28日は、待ちに待ったハロウィーンパーティー！！日が近づくにつれ、子どもたちの興奮も絶頂に！！
パーティー当日は、可愛く＆格好良くきめたみんなが楽しそうに、ゲームをしたり、お菓子を食べたり、お友達と遊んだり・・・。
保護者の皆さまは、衣裳の準備、当日の参加と本当にありがとうございました。
