Rainforest students have been learning more about natural and human made resources this week.
We have watched interesting videos such as how fossils make oil and gas and about how crayons
and erasers are made.
The students have learnt how to categorise resources in our classroom into natural and
human-made resources but we also discovered that many are a mixture of natural and human-made,
such as Jenga blocks, pencils, paper and glue.
We will start learning about how resources are shared in the world today and next week. RF students have been learning more about IB attitudes such as appreciation for our Earth’s natural resources, having empathy for each other and our environment but taking care of things and curiosity about the world.
