Hello everyone! It’s been a month since Ms. Fronie took a vacation to visit her family in the Philippines. Now, she is back and Aurora students welcomed her with big smiles and hugs! Ms. Fronie was really happy to be back and spent time with her students again. She missed you big time!💕
みなさん、こんにちは！ フィリピンの家族を訪ねていたフローニー先生が、約1か月の休暇から戻り、オーロラの子ども達は、大きな笑顔と抱擁で先生を歓迎しました! フローニー先生も本当に嬉しく思いながら、再び子ども達との時間を過ごしました。 先生もみんなが恋しかったようです！
Back to our daily routine, we had a Phonics lesson on Monday. We learned about the uppercase and lowercase letter Ll, its sound, and words that begin with the said letter such as lion, lips, leaf, lock, ladder, and lamp. After that, we played the Ll Ice Cream game. Each student had to pick the ball with the letter L or l and put it in the ice cream cone. Everybody enjoyed it!👍
日常に戻り、月曜日はフォニックスのレッスンがありました。 大文字と小文字の L・l 、その音、そして Lion （ライオン）lips（唇）, leaf（葉）, lock（鍵）, ladder（はしご）, lamp（ランプ）などのL・l で始まる言葉について学びました。 その後、L・Iアイスクリームゲームをしました。 Lまたは、lの文字が書かれたボールを選び、アイスクリームコーンに入れなければなりません。 みんな楽しみました！
In UOI, we closed the LOI2 with our individual Formative Assessment which is about how people help animals. Students had to identify which picture is good and bad for the animals and paste it on the right column. Everyone did a great job in answering their worksheets. We are knowledgeable!👏👏👏
UOI のレッスンでは、「How people help animals (人はどのように動物達をお世話するのか」についての個々の形成的評価を行い、LOI-2 を締めくくりました。 イラストに描かれた動作を見て、それが動物にとって良い行いなのか、悪い行いなのかを判定し、シートに貼ってゆきます。 みんなの答えは素晴らしく、良くできました。たくさんの知識を身につけています！
On Thursday, we started with our LOI3: The way animals help us by doing a Prior Knowledge Assessment. In LOI3, we will learn about how farm animals help people. We will focus on the products they give us, especially the food that comes from those animals. To know if the students have knowledge about it, they matched the picture of the products to the animals they thought it came from. Then, after their first try, I asked them to think of their answers again, to be thinkers. And if they change their mind, they can come to the front and change their answers. There were few students who changed their answers and made the right decision because they were able to correct their answers by themselves. They were able to reflect by themselves. Great job!💯⭐
木曜日には、LOI-3 が始まりました。農場の動物達が私達をどのように助けてくれているか、について学びます。動物が私達に与えてくれる製品、特にそれらの動物から得られる食物に焦点を当てます。それについてどのくらい知っているか（既知情報）を知るために、子ども達に、製品の写真を渡し、それがどの動物に由来すると思うかを尋ねました。最初は思うままに試みてもらい、後にもう一度考える「Thinker（考える人）」になるように頼みました。 そして、もし答えを変えたい場合は、前に出て修正することができると伝えました。 ほとんどの生徒が、答えを修正することなく、正しい判断をしていました。彼らは自分自身で正しい答えを見出したり、顧みて考えることができます。 よくできたね！
We had Music class on Friday. They had fun singing various Japanese songs with lovely dances. They also practiced playing castanets. They were also able to produce synchronized rhythm on their tapping the color activity using sticks. High Five!🖐👏
金曜日は音楽のレッスンがありました。 素敵な踊りに合わせて、たくさんの日本の歌を楽しく歌いました。 また、カスタネットの練習をしたり、スティックを使ってリズムに合わせて色紙を打ったりしました。ハイタッチ！！
