Hello everyone! This is the last week of February and our boys and girls have only a month of stay in Aurora class. Time flies so fast!

早いもので、もう2月も終わろうとしています👀オーロラさんでいられるのももう残り1カ月となりました！
This week we finished the discussion about LOI3: Animals help us. We discovered that we get some products from animals that help people in our daily lives to survive. Most of them are food such as meat of fish, pig, cow, and chicken; egg from hen and duck; honey from bees; and milk from cow and goat. There are also products made from animals skin like leather bags and belt, candles from beeswax, and sweater from wool of sheep.
今週はLOI3の動物は私たちを助けることについてクラスディスカッションをしました。動物たちはどのように私たちを助けてくれるのでしょうか？子ども達は色々考えながら動物は私たちが必要な物を与えてくれることを学びました。例えば、牛からミルクがとれるし、蜂からははちみつがとれます。鶏は卵を産み、私たちは動物の肉・魚を食べて生きています。子ども達はラクダの皮からカバンができていること等にとても驚いていました👀
We also had a formative assessment about the products come from animals by completing a worksheet. They had to match the animals to the products they make. Surprisingly, most of them got all the correct answers! Well done!
上記の事を学んだあとは、子ども達の理解度をワークシートを使ってアセスメントしました。ほとんどの子ども達が全問正解だったので、とても驚きました。さすがオーロラさん😉👏
Then for the summative assessment, Aurora has to make a habitat diorama of animals. The class was divided into 4 groups and each group had to decide which habitat they wanted to work on and what animals they will be putting on it. Our boys and girls did a great job in deciding as a group. They were able to speak to their group members and came up to a great decision. They finished painting the boxes the for the base of the diorama and later they are going to color and cut the animals they have chosen.
そしてUnit4を締めくくるサマティブアセスメントでは、動物とその生息地をジオラマを作り発表します。まずは4グループにクラスを分けました。そして今回いつもより少しレベルを上げてみました。グループディスカッションを試してみました！なんと！！！全部のグループが自分のやりたいことを言い合い、みんなでお題を決めることができました👏 これには私たちも本当に驚かされました👀そしてとても嬉しく思います！
そしてお題を決めた後はグループ毎にジオラマ作りを始めました。この日は2グループが絵の具で背景を塗りました😉
プレゼンテーションがとても楽しみです🥰
In writing, they finished tracing letters Kk, Ll and Mm. They are improving now and become faster in doing their work. They really love writing now and always excited to do it. Good job!
ライティングではアルファベットのK,L,Mを練習しました。前は時間が掛かっていたライティングの練習もみんなとても成長し、早く仕上げることができるようなっています👏
At the gym, Aurora had so much fun at their running activity. There were different starting positions that made running exciting and challenging for them.
ジムレッスンでは、たくさん走り回り、色々なスターティングポジションからのかけっこ競争もしました！
They also had another fun outdoor play at the park. Even at the park, some of them are trying to write their names on the ground. They also drew some interesting things for them. Of course they also enjoyed running around and using the slides and swings.
大好きなパークでも遊びました！最近自分の名前を書く練習をしているので、パークの地面にも自分の名前を書こうと一生懸命な子どももいました🥰名前以外にもなにか面白そうなものも描いていました！もちろんお絵描きだけじゃありません！追いかけっこなどもしました🏃
