Speaking and listening are at the heart of children’s learning. Children need to be confident communicators and active listeners in order to learn about the world they live in.

In Aurora class, we allow students to present their work in front of everyone to develop confidence in speaking and at the same time to become good listeners.
オーロラクラスでは、子ども達がみんなの前で自信を持って発表でき、他人の発表をしっかり聞けるようになる環境を作っています。
In UOI, Aurora finally finished their group diorama of different animal habitats. They painted the boxes as a group, they colored and cut the animals they wanted to put in the diorama. Now they are practicing for the presentation of their diorama to be shown to their parents in our open school day.
UOIでは、一生懸命グループで作っていたジオラマが完成しました！グループのみんなでダンボールをペイントして、好きな動物を切り取り色を塗りダンボールに張りつけて出来上がり！あとは参観日の発表までにプレゼンを練習するだけですが、当日しっかり発表ができるかな！？どうぞお楽しみにしててください♫
In writing, they finished practicing writing letters Nn, Oo and Pp. They are all doing a great job in writing and keep saying it’s easy for them!
ライティングでは、アルファベットのN、O、Pを練習しました。みんなとても上手になってきています！「簡単！」と言っている子どもが沢山いました笑
In math lesson, since we finished learning about numbers that make 10, now we started to add numbers from 1 to 10 like 1+1=2, 1+2=3…
算数では、足して10になる数を引き続き学んでいます。そして後半は1+1,1+2などの足し算の学習も始めました！
In music lesson, our boys and girls were practicing the keys DO, RE, MI and MI, RE, DO. Most of them found it easy, but others need more practice in doing MI, RE, DO especially with the switching of fingers.
ミュージックレッスンでは、ドレミとミレドを音楽に合わせて弾く練習を始めました！ドレミは簡単になってきましたが、ミレドが少し難しかったようです。それでも一生懸命練習して、とても上手にできるようになりました👏
March 3rd was Hinamatsuri Festival. Aurora students are proud to show you their Hinamatsuri dolls!
そして3月3日はひな祭り！上手に作った紙コップの可愛い雛人形を見てあげてください😍
We went to the park and let them played along with one another. They run around the park, and used the playground structures as much as they could. That was really fun!
パークにも行って沢山遊びました！公園の中を走り回ったり、遊具で遊んだり、先生達と追いかけっこをしたりと、とっても楽しかったです😉
