We had a very fun open school day! Thank you for everyone that was able to come. The students were so happy to share their presentations with you all. They also talked about how much fun they had drawing with everyone all day. Afterwards they were all so happy and also finished their pictures later on that day too.今週はスクールオープンデーにご来園頂きありがとうございました。皆様に、これまで準備をしてきたプレゼンをお見せする事ができ、子供達も大変喜んでいました。また、保護者の方と絵を描いた事が楽しかったと喜んでいました！参観後、子供達は続きの絵を仕上げました。
This week the students learned how to take care of the planet. Activities were full of discussion, videos, and drawings. Not only did they learn what people can do to help, but what they can do to help at their age. One video showed children cleaning a park and the students saw themselves doing that in the future as well.今週子供達はどのようにしたら私達の地球を守る事ができるのかを学びました。活動は全て沢山のディスカッションからなり、ビデオを観たり、絵を描いて進みました。どうしたら地球を守れるのかだけではなく、子供達のレベルで、又は年齢で何が出来るのかを学びました。沢山観た中の一つに、公園をお掃除するビデオがありました。子供達が次に公園へ行ったら同じようにゴミ拾いをする姿が思い描かれます！
Next week they will be reflecting on everything they’ve learned as we come to a close for this Unit. We are very proud of them and the hard work they have put into their learning and work. We hope that they will continue to like an eco-friendly life as they grow and learn more about our planet.来週は、年度末も近づいていますので、このユニットで学んだ事についての総復習をする予定です。子供達がどれほど頑張り一生懸命に取り組んできたかを考えると、感慨深いです。これから成長とともに、エコフレンドリーな人になり続け、そして私達の大切な地球にもっと関心を持って欲しいと願います。
