Here it is! Unfortunately, this summer has come to an end and so has the summer programme.
On Monday, we visited the SynEco recycling plant in Matsumoto city. The kind staff explained all about the recycling process to the students. They learned that you can make soda cans from cars or toilet paper from old milk cartons, for example. 🥫
On Friday, our destination was the TeamLab electronic playground exhibition held in Matsumoto city. The students learned how modern technology can transform our lives in various ways. 🖱️
The students have also took part in their respective level’s mock Eiken exams. We hope everyone learned a lot!
This week, we said goodbye to some friends, but we hope to see them again in the winter or the spring programme! 😊
夏も終わりに近づき、2018サマープログラムも終わりました。月曜は、市内の(株)しんえこ リサイクル工場へ見学へ行きました。親切なスタッフより、リサイクルの工程について説明をして頂きました。子どもたちは、例えば、リサイクルの缶や車などから、缶を再生することを学んだり、牛乳パック6枚からトイレットペーパー1ロールが作れることなど環境に大切なことを学びました。
金曜は、市内で開催されていたTeam Labへ行きました。モダンテクノロジーが様々な形で私たちの生活に関わっていることを学ぶことができました。
そして、各生徒のレベルにあった英検のトライアルテストも行いました。みんな沢山学んでくれたことと思います。
今週は、何人かのサマープログラム参加者とお別れをしました。ウィンターやスプリングプログラムでまたお会いできるのを楽しみにしています！
