On Wednesday, October 5, a number of Elementary Students chose to participate in a “Speaking English Challenge”. Their mission was to complete 7 English-speaking tasks in 3 and a half hours: journal, vocabulary, Unit of Inquiry discussion and mind-map completion, Christmas Show drama practice, organizing lunch, discussions during lunch, and finally a lego building task after lunch. All students are to be commended for their positive attitude and diligence in sticking to English the entire time. Students enjoyed it so much they have requested another challenge next week but on a different day of the week which will require different types of activities to complete.
