Hello, everyone! The past week was filled with sports activities in preparation for last Friday’s Sports day! The teams were selected, the sports were practiced, and the dance choreographies were perfected. 😅
皆さん、こんにちは。先週は金曜日のスポーツデイの準備のため沢山からだを動かした一週間となりました。チームが決定し、体育館でリハーサルを行い、ダンスの振り付けも完璧になりました。
Friday’s event was very exciting for everyone involved. All the students tried very hard to help their respective teams as much as they could, and this was especially true for the oldest, Grade 5, 6 and 7 students, who served as team leaders. Even though the students seemed very tired afterwards, it was very rewarding for the teachers to see their happy, smiling faces. Thank you to the parents for coming to the event and joining the last three games. The students appreciated it very much. You can see the students’ wonderful dance performance in the video below. 🤗
ついに金曜日は、皆が楽しみにしていたスポーツデイが開催されました。みんな、お互いのチームを尊重しながら精一杯頑張りました。特にG5/6/7は上級生として、チームのリーダーとして一生懸命やっていました。最後の方は子ども達も疲れた様子でしたが、みんなの楽しんでいる様子や笑顔を見ることができてとても嬉しかったです。縮小した開催のため1児童につき保護者1名の参加でしたが、参加してくださった保護者の皆さん、お忙しい中、お越し頂きありがとうございました。子ども達の素晴らしいダンスパフォーマンスを以下の動画でご覧頂けます。
This week, the students have also finished all activities related to their second Unit of Inquiry of this school year. All that’s left for next week is another exciting summative assessment task. The students will be given the task of exploring a place or a topic of their choice in the school’s surroundings, emphasizing the idea that each and every one of us can be an explorer every day. 🍀

さらに今週は探究の学びのユニット2に関する活動を全て終えました。いよいよ来週はユニット2の最終評価課題（プロジェクト）に取り組みます。スクール近隣から探索する場所とテーマを選び、毎日自分達が探検家になることができるアイディアを発表します。今回のユニットが終わると、なんともう今年度のサマープログラムが待っています。今年はどんな楽しみが待っているでしょう！？一緒に楽しもうね！
