Grade 3 are knee-deep in the starry midst of showbiz. Scripts in hand and looking to the gods of theatre for inspiration, we are working on a daily basis to perfect our ever closer grand performance. Of course it’s quite a challenge they have undertaken, given that it is an original script, albeit based upon an existing anime. Having to interpret jokes, emotions and gestures without any prior references is always more difficult, yet they are making a really good effort.
As well as perfecting our acting skills, Grade 3 are also working flat out on making props for the show. Having divided into groups with respect to stage settings, they have been busy delegating roles and tasks and then getting on with the mucky fun of drawing, cutting, painting and mounting. Phew!
