Hi everyone!
It was a fun week indeed for our young ones!
We filled this week with different fun-learning and exciting activities!
For our phonics lesson, we did letter recognition and played a body letters game. The students were divided into 4 groups and each group has to make a letter with their body. We used a big dice for this game wherein each side has different letters from M-R. It was good to see them thinking and making a way how can they make a letter through their body. This game is a wonderful way to expose our little ones to more letters both visually and verbally. Great job!

今週はクラスの子ども達にとって本当に楽しい一週間でした！
今週は、様々な楽しい学習とエキサイティングな活動でいっぱいでした!
フォニックスのレッスンでは、アルファベットの確認と「体でアルファベットゲーム」を行いました。 生徒たちは4つのグループに分けられ、それぞれのグループは体を使ってアルファベットを形作ります。このゲームでは、各面に M ～ R の異なる文字が書かれた大きなサイコロを使いました。 どうすれば自分の体でアルファベットを作ることができるかを考え、作っている姿を見るのは素敵でした。 このゲームは、視覚的にも口頭でも、子ども達に、より多くの文字に触れてもらえる素晴らしい方法です。よくできました！
In our IB time, we are still learning about “Myself and the People Around Me”. In relation to this topic, we played a “pass the ball” game. Our youngsters passed the ball to their friends while the music was playing and when it stopped, the student who was holding the ball introduced herself/himself in front of the class and shared his/her favorite color. In this activity, we practiced saying, “My name is ___. My favorite color is ____. Everybody enjoyed this game! Also, we applied one of our Learner Profiles— “Open-minded” by asking our youngsters who are the students who have the same favorite color and respecting their friend’s choices even if it’s different from theirs. We also talked about being different from others is totally fine and sometimes, our friends have different likes and interests from us.
IB （UOI1）の時間に「自分自身と私の周りの人々」について学んでいます。 この話題に関連して「パス・ザ・ボール ゲーム」を行いました。 子ども達は、音楽が流れている間、友達にボールを渡し、音楽が止まると、ボールを持っていた子が、クラスの前に出て自己紹介し、自分の好きな色を発表しました。”My name is 〇〇〇”（私の名前は〇〇〇です）と”My favorite color is 〇〇〇”（私の好きな色は〇〇〇です） といったもので、みんなこの活動を楽しんでいました。また、学習者プロファイルの 1 つである「Open-Minded（心を開く人）」を例に、自分と好きな色が同じでも違っていても、友達の選択を尊重することが大切で、 他の人と違っていてもいいし、友達が自分とは異なる好みや興味を持っていることもあることを話しました。
Our IB time has never been more exciting than this! To make the lesson more fun, we played ISUTORI game with a twist! There were pictures on each chair with various poses that our youngsters have to copy. Well done!
IB （UNIT1）で、これほどエキサイティングな時間はありませんでした! UOIのレッスンをより楽しくするために、ひねりを加えた椅子取りゲームをしました！ 各椅子には、子ども達が真似をするための様々なポーズの写真が貼られています。 上出来でした！
