Hello everyone, the weather was lovely for this week. This is absolutely the best week to have lots of learning and taking the nap soundly Haha. As usual, our Rainbow enjoyed the outdoor playtime too, who doesn’t love play time??

お天気の良い日が続き外遊びがとても楽しい季節になりましたね。
レインボーのお友達は外遊びが大好き！もちろん外遊び以外にもリトミック、クラフト、歌やダンス、色について学んだりと沢山の活動をしました。
Rainbow had their very first music class this week and we witnessed the power of music! All the students were excited in using their both voices and body gestures during the lesson, our music teacher allowed each of them to take part individually, starting from self-introduction, dance along, do gestures with music and farewell greeting. How we wish the lesson will go on and on until, everyone was dwelling in the atmosphere of the music and we neglected the time! Don’t worry Rainbow, we will have the lesson again every week!
今年度最初のリトミックがありました！
まず初めにお願いします！と挨拶をし、自己紹介をしました。初めてのお友達も多かったですが、自分の名前を大きな声で言うことが出来ました。
絵をみて声にだしながら手を打つ練習。みかん、ゆびわ、き！の絵を見て、
身体全体を使い大きく手を打ったり、指先を使い小さく打ったりしました。
次にスカーフを使い2拍子のスウィングの練習をしました。手の中で丸めて開くとフワッとお花が咲いたようになります。そのお花を手の上にのせゆらゆら～と左右に身体、手を動かす練習をしました。先生のピアノに合わせてどのお友達も笑顔で楽しそうにリズムをとってました。
あっという間にレッスンが終わってしまい少し寂し気な様子のお友達もいました。次のレッスンが待ち遠しいですね。
Besides that, we also had our 2nd craft class for this month. This time, we designed our very own carp kites/windsocks! (Koinobori). Children’s day is approaching and we might not be able to see each other during the Golden week (Who is attending the school during holiday huh?) So, designing the windsocks will not only giving them the prior knowledge of children’s day, they were able to review the monthly topic: Colors! It’s the best thing since sliced bread (An idiom, it means a good idea).
To kick start the craft lesson, we gave instructions such as sharing the crayons, try to pronounce the color when picking a crayon, and Color ALL YOU CAN! Each of them did a very good job on coloring and of course, never forget to wash the hands! The carp windsocks will be displayed at school and we can’t wait to see all the amazing Koinobori Rainbow students made!
今月2回目のクラフトは鯉のぼり製作です！
来月子どもの日があります、GWという事でスクールはお休みですがその前にみんなで鯉のぼりを作り一足先に子供の日をお祝い！好きな色を選び思い思いに色を塗っていきました。カラフルで力強い、元気いっぱいな鯉のぼりが出来上がりました。今月のテーマである色！自分が選んだ色、塗った色を確認し“RED””Green”などと声に出しながら楽しく作ることが出来ました。クレヨンの貸し借り、お友達が使っていたら終わるまで待つ！みんな上手にできました。
作品が出来上がるまでもうしばらくお待ちください。
