Hello everyone,
The summer heat is still on. Rainbow students enjoy getting in the water every day. This week, they had fun playing with plastic bottles, we put holes around to let the water come out like a shower. They enjoyed scooping and pouring onto their friends’ bodies and theirs too. They cooled down and spent the day comfortably.
みなさん、こんにちは。
夏の暑さはまだ続いています。レインボーの生徒たちは毎日水遊びを楽しんでいます。今週はペットボトルで楽しく遊んでいました。ペットボトルの周りに穴を開けて、シャワーのように水が出るようにしました。生徒たちは水をすくって、友達の体や自分の体にかけました。涼しくなって、快適に一日を過ごしました。
Most of the students have runny this week and we talked about how to care for themselves. We asked them what they do when have runny noses. Some kids say “Get the tissue!” One student demonstrated how to blow his nose with tissue and directly throw it away in the rubbish and the next friends copied what their friends did. Well done, Rainbow!
今週、鼻水が出ている生徒が多かったので、クラスではその対処方法について話し合いました。鼻水が出た時はどうするかを尋ねました。何人かの子が「ティッシュを取る！」と言いました。ある生徒はティッシュで鼻をかみ、その後、ゴミ箱に捨てるまでを実演してくれました。他のお友だちも真似をしました。よくできました、レインボー！
Our young learners actively participate in circle time. They love to stand in front of their friends and answer questions. We were amazed by their confidence in raising their hands and counting numbers 1-10 on the wall.
若い学習者たちは朝・夕の会に積極的に参加しています。クラスの前に出て質問に答えるのが大好きです。彼らが自信を持って手を挙げ、壁に貼られた 1 から 10 までの数字を数える姿に驚きました。
We reviewed the lesson about sea animals. We looked around the classroom and spotted the sea animals using the binoculars. The students were able to name them and say the phrase ” I see a… Jellyfish! etc.
海の生き物について復習をしました。教室内を望遠鏡で見回し、海の生き物を探しました。生徒たちは動物の名前を言い「クラゲが見えるよ！」などのフレーズを言うことができました。
Our most awaited day come! To have the parents come over and eat snacks together. They wore smiles on their faces and enjoyed the moment together. After eating a snack, the kids showed how to be principled by listening and sitting on their chairs nicely. Before we ended the day, the kids put on their shark hats, and their parents too. Everyone had a blast dancing the “baby shark dance”. Dear parents, thank you for allotting your time coming and seeing how the kids do at school. We had a wonderful time.
待ちに待った日がやってきました。保護者の方々がいらして、子ども達とおやつを食べました。保護者の方々は笑顔で一緒に楽しいひとときを過ごしました。おやつの後、子ども達は、きちんと先生の話を聞いて椅子に座りました。子どもたちはパパやママと一緒にサメの帽子をかぶり、みんなで「ベビーシャークダンス」を踊って大いに盛り上がりました。保護者の皆様、お忙しい中、子どもたちが学校でどのように過ごしているかを見に来てくださり、ありがとうございました。とても楽しい時間でした。
