Shooting Star had a short, but fantastic week. We practiced our Sports Festival with Miss Rieko on Wednesday. We finalized some ideas and will have ribbons and costume pieces soon! On Thursday we took a long walk next to the mountainside. We saw cicadas, butterflies, ladybugs, dragonflies, spiders, frogs, grasshoppers, crickets, flowers, trees and pumpkins. The rice is looking very good too! We also went to Nanbu Park on Thursday and played on the play structure, kicked balls and looked for more insects. It was a fun trip. On Friday we practiced our pianicas and when finished, had free play and a special table activity of play dough. It was a nice week with a small class size. Hope the other students are enjoying their summer holiday. See you Monday for the last full week of August.
