We started our new line of inquiry this week and it’s about how family members have different roles. There are many things we do to maintain our home and in a family those roles might be different. For example, in some families The mom cooks where as with other families the father or grandparents cook. In this line of inquiry we will explore the roles in a family and how they are done differently or similarly in each family.
今週、SS/SVクラスの line of inquiry が 新しくなり、”家族のメンバーはそれぞれのRole（役割）がある”という 学びに移りました。”お家”（含家族）を成立さたせる為には沢山することがあり、家族一人ひとりが違う役割を担っています。例えば、ある家族ではお母さんが食事を作りますが、一方では、お父さん、又はおじいちゃん、おばあちゃんがお料理をする家庭もあります。この単元で子供達は、家族のメンバーの役割を見つける事と、それぞれの家族の共通点/相違点について学んでいきます。
The next activity the students will do is each one will bring home an interview sheet home for different family members. The students will ask each member of their family what their roles are. If they have siblings they will interview them as well but with different kinds of activities like playing or drawing. It’s a wonderful chance for the students to learn more about their families.
この単元についての学びの一環として、子どもたちはInterview Sheetをお家に持ち帰ります。子どもたちがご家族の役割について質問をしますので、一緒にInterview Sheetに沿って回答をお願いします。もしもきょうだいがいればきょうだいにも質問をします。子どもたちにとって家族の役割を知るとても良い機会になるでしょう。
