Hello everyone. This was a good week in class here at International School of Nagano. We continued to look at the difference between different people. We completed an interview and then used that information to make a graph. The students began practicing a detective game using that information by using the clues to identify the person. We started practicing the game and will get better at playing it. The students got along well with the other students both in rainforest class as well as other students too this week. We worked on more IB PYP attitudes, such as co-operation, respect, and appreciation. I will see the students try to show these attitudes throughout the day. The gym class, at the gym we go to in Matsumoto, was really fun to see and everyone had a good time. They had a good time at the park, near Minami campus, with each other outside in the nice weather we have been having lately.
みなさん今日は。今週はとてもいい週でした。クラスでは、先週に続き個々の違いをより深く理解することをしました。お互いへの質問（インタビュー）も終えて、その情報をもとにグラフを作りました。そのグラフを使って少しのヒントから誰のことかを当てる探偵ゲームを練習し始めました。ゲームの練習は始めたばかりなので、また来週も練習していきます。
最近よく休み時間などに他の学年の生徒たちと話をしているのを目にします。学校にも慣れてきた証拠ですね。
Free Playの時間ではレゴがとても人気です。自分の住みたい理想の家を作ったり、ペンギンやカメラを作ったり皆んなとてもクリエイティブな遊びをしています。作り終わっていないレゴは専用の箱に入れて次の休み時間に続きをやるなど、過ごしづつ成長しているのが日々見られます。ブロックでも何人かで協力してロケットを作ったりしています。
毎日のMorning・Closing CircleではＩＢ初等教育プログラムの姿勢（児童に何を感じ、何を重んじ、何を示してほしいのか）について、日々の生活の中で出来ているかを振り返っています。今週は協力 (cooperation)、尊重 (respect)、感謝 (appreciation)について理解しているか、自分たちは出来ているかを話し合いました。これからも他の姿勢にもフォーカスしていきます。
Gymのクラスでは裸足になり、よく走ったりジャンプしたり、足を高く上げてロープを跨いだり、手をついて四つ足で歩いたりとたくさん体を動かしています。公園でもとても天気がいい中たくさん走り、とても元気に遊びました。熱中症にならないように水分補給はこまめにするように心がけています。天気が良いので、暑くなればすぐ脱げる服装だと自分で体温調節が出来るので良いですね。
Japanese classではひらがなを綺麗に正しく描く練習をけいこ先生としています。お家で読んでいただいている日本語の本の発表や感想などもしっかり言えるようになってきました。
また来週はSchool Open Dayがあります。Rainforest全員でお待ちしています！
