Last week, we watched a show and tell video clip about kids sharing their cultural tradition. It was interesting to see the kind of food they prepare and even the songs they sing.
先週G1クラスでは、子ども達が自分達の文化的伝統を紹介するshow＆tellのビデオクリップを見ました。どんな料理を作っているか、どんな歌を歌っているかなど、興味深い内容でした。
We also had a chance to invite students from other classes. They shared to us the cultural traditions that they follow at home with their family even if they are living in Japan. We learned about the food they eat at home, the festivals they celebrate, the language they speak and even how to count in a different language.
また、他のクラスの生徒に来てもらい、話を聞く機会もありました。日本に住んでいても、家で家族と一緒に行っている文化的な伝統を私たちに教えてくれました。家庭での食事、お祭り、言語、そして数の数え方なども教えてもらいました。
Learning one’s culture was like travelling to another part of the world. This means we have a new set of stamps to stick on our passport.
他の国の文化を学ぶことは、世界の別の場所に旅行するようなものでした。つまり、私たちはパスポートに押す新しいスタンプを手に入れたのです！
