Aurora has been busy preparing for our Christmas Show. We have been practicing our character lines for The Gingerbread Man play. We try to express our words and feelings clearly. This ties in well with our IB Theme “How we express ourselves”. We made props for our play too – flower bushes!
12月に迎えるクリスマスショーに向けて、オーロラさん達は大忙しです。The Gingerbread Manの劇中で言う台詞の練習をみんなとても頑張っています。台詞や気持ちをはっきりと表現出来るようにしています。劇の練習は、今回のIBテーマ「私たちはどのように自分たちを表現するのか」にも結び付いています。劇で使う道具（茂み）もみんなで作りました。
Aurora worked on letters and numbers through puzzles and games. We paired up uppercase, lowercase letters Aa to Jj as review and focussed on Kk, Ll, Mm this week. The class also played a Number Bingo game to reinforce our number recognition. Whoever gets 3 numbers in a row wins and calls out Bingo! Aurora loved the game. 😊👍🏻
アルファベットと数字を認識する活動としてパズルやゲームをしました。Aa～Jjまでのアルファベットを復習するため、小文字と大文字を合わせる活動をしてから、今週は Kk, Ll, Mm の３つの文字に注目してレッスンをしました。1から１０までの数字の認識をするために、ビンゴゲームもしました。横に3つ並んだ数字におはじきが置けたら、ビンゴ！と叫びます。オーロラさん達はこのゲームが大好きになりました。
In Gym, Aurora worked both the mind and the body as we tried to coordinate the different parts of our bodies. With a rope on the ground, we figured out how to hop side to side and cross over while maintaining our balance. Good job Aurora!
体操教室では、様々な体の部位を使って、複雑な動きをマスターすることに挑戦しました！ロープの上を両足をそろえたまま、右、左、右と交互にジャンプする活動や、足をクロスしながら、ロープを踏まないようい交互に歩く活動などをしました。頭を使って動く難しい活動でしたが、ほとんどのお友達が上手に出来ていました。
We went to the park for some fresh air and fun in the sun. Two of Aurora’s students turned 4 in November and we will have our monthly birthday party for them. More party photo updates soon! Till next Monday, have a great weekend.
月曜日と金曜日は公園に出かけ、太陽の下で思いっきり体を動かしました。2人のオーロラさんが11月に4歳になりました。金曜日はお誕生日会をします。明日はその様子を伝える写真をアップしますのでお楽しみに。良い週末をお過ごしください。
