Hello everyone!
We’re back to our Unit of Inquiry after our summer program and this week, we have been working on the third unit transdisciplinary theme which is, “How The World Works” with our central idea, “Testing Our Ideas Helps Us Better Understand the World “. We will be doing series of experiments on this unit as Scientists. In this week, we did Sink or Float experiment. We brought different materials from home like cloth, glass, metal, wood, etc. As scientists we made our hypothesis before we did the Sink and Float experiment. And guess what? Our hypothesis were exactly the same as the result of our experiment. In other words, we are real Scientists! We hypothesized, observed, reflected, recorded, and made conclusions. We loved what we did. We had lots of learnings from it and we had fun doing it. We are excited to do more experiments for the coming weeks. Please check them out.

サマープログラムが終わり、通常の探究の単元の授業に戻りました。3つめの探究の単元のセントラルアイディア「How The World Works」（世界はどのように動いているか）に基づいて、「アイディアを試すことは世界をより理解することに役立つ」について学んでいます。このユニットでは科学者になり様々な実験を行っていきます。そして、どんな結果になったか分かりますか？自分達の仮説とまったく同じ実験結果が得られました！なんと、私達は本物の科学者になったのです！仮説をたて、観察し、実験、考察、記録をして纏めることをしました。みんなとても楽しんでやっていました。そして沢山のことを学ぶことができました。これから数週間にわたり沢山の実験をしていくのを楽しみにしています。またブログでご報告します！
