This month of October, we started on a new topic – four Seasons. This week was an introduction to the four Seasons and Autumn. We examined the colours of autumn leaves which was a good review on colours – green, orange, yellow, red and brown. We had a catchy short song to go with it.
10月に入り、今週は新しいトピックになりました。四季が今週、そして今月のテーマをなります。今週は四季をMeadowクラスのみんなに紹介し、今の季節でもある秋について学びました。紅葉していく木々や葉を、色の復習もしながら学びました。green, orange, yellow, red 、brownの色をキャッチーな歌で楽しみました。
October means Halloween fun! We learned songs for our upcoming Halloween school event on October 26, Friday. ‘Go away, Scary Monster’ was one of the songs learned and the children loved calling out ‘go away’! We made a bat craft out of toilet rolls, and the children could say ‘bbbbbbat’!
10月といえば、ハローウィーンです。10月26日に企画していますハロウィーンパーティーのために ‘Go away, Scary Monster’ のお歌を練習したり、トイレットペーパーの芯を利用してBATコウモリを制作しました。歌のフレーズ‘go away’を叫ぶことがみんな大好きで、盛り上がりました。またコウモリを制作した際には ‘bbbbbbat’と発音の練習も頑張りました。
During Music and Gym classes, the children listened well to instructions, and followed cues from the Instructors and Teachers. For music, they clapped to the rhythm of ABC song, and followed the tune for ‘One Elephant Went Out to Play’. For gym activities, they tiptoed tall and tumbled down to the instructor’s blow of the whistle. Up and down!
月曜日のMusicと、水曜日にGymでは、子供たちは先生やインストラクターの先生方の言うことを良く聞き、指示に従うことが出来ていました。音楽ではABCソングと‘One Elephant Went Out to Play’という曲に合わせてリズムを手拍子で捉え、またGymではインストラクターの笛の音に合わせてつま先立ちをしたり、でんぐり返しをしたりしました。
We had a Bus Trip to Shounai Park.
