Hello, everyone!
We are back with more updates. We ended our Unit 3 with a Science Fair. Our class was divided into four (4) teams. We prepared a display board for our visitors as well as a demonstration to explain our experiment.
皆さんこんにちは。少し遡りますが、ユニット3の最後に行ったサイエンスフェアの様子です。4つのチームに分かれて、ディスプレイボードと、自分たちが行った実験を説明するデモンストレーションを準備しました。
We were able to present our work to Melbourne University students online and Grade 2 students who were able to visit our room. At first, we were a bit shy and nervous to explain our work. Good thing that we answered all of the questions asked which made us happy. Hopefully, we could present our work to our parents next time.
インターンシップ期間中であったメルボルン大学の学生がオンラインで、またグレード2の生徒達が見に来てくれ、作った作品を発表することができました。最初は自分たちの作品を説明するのが少し恥ずかしくて緊張している様子でしたが、質問にすべてきちんと答えることができ、とても満足しています。次回はお家の方々のの前で作品を発表できるといいなと願っています。
The display board was composed of the Scientific method as well as photos of us doing the experiment.
ディスプレイボードには、Scientific method（科学的手法）と、私たちが実験をしている写真を貼りました。
It was a long and busy day for us but we had fun. This was also the day when we watched the second grade’s presentation for natural disasters. We learned about how to be prepared whenever it happens. They even reminded us that our classroom is the most dangerous place since it’s very close to the mountains! But we’re glad to know being prepared will save lives.
長くて忙しく感じた一日でしたが、楽しく過ごすことができました。この日、私達もグレード2のクラスを訪れ、自然災害に関するプレゼンテーションを見ることができました。それを見て、災害が起こったときにどのように備えるかを学びました。スクールはは山の近くにあるので、危険な場所だということも教えてくれました。備えあれば憂いなし、です。
