Problems Solved by Puppets

In one of our UOI lessons, we discussed on how to solve interpersonal problems. We realized that we first have to take initiative in solving problems on our own. We should not always rely on our teacher for back up because this will not help us in having the opportunity to decide on our own. Finding our own resolution develops our independence. It builds our confidence and self-esteem and allow us to find a way to get our ideas across in a clear and effective manner.

Fighting our own battles is a good practice for a healthy growth and development. We always have to start while young because problems will always be a part of life.

We first reviewed the stories we had before and identified the problems that occurred. We then listed down solutions for each problem. Once we have decided what stories we will have for each team, we continued with the preparation of our puppets as well as the lines to say for the show.

Finally, we had the presentation for everyone to watch. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to create our own stage but still we had a good time in presenting our stories.

The first story we had was about a lying fox. We solved the problem by letting the fox tell the truth. Honesty is always important to avoid conflict with the people around you.

The second story was about a man who can’t be satisfied with what he has. He wanted more and even resorts to fighting just to get what it wants. We solved the problem by letting the man reflect on his actions and as forgiveness from what he did. We always make mistakes but asking forgiveness and reflecting on what you did wrong is always the best thing to do to solve the problem.

The last story was about a boy who hates people around him. We solved the problem by letting the boy say kind words and smile to everyone he meets. To be kind and caring will help you gain more friends. A beautiful smile and a beautiful heart will help us live happily with everyone around us.

Even with our Math problems we get to just keep smiling and laugh it all off! We are not afraid of solving problems whether we are dealing with number or with people.

The more problems we are capable of solving, the more responsible we will become in all areas of life.

Do you have problems right now? We know you can solve it too!

Have a fun-filled weekend! Thanks for reading.
