“We Have a Spooky Good Time”

Greetings!

The most awaited Halloween Party has finally come. It’s one of the very special holidays for children as they get to wear spooking costumes of their favorite characters. Not only children wore their favorite costumes at the party, but also some of the parents. Everyone had fun playing the games prepared by the teachers such as bowling game, shoot the balls, catch the monster, ring toss, pin the spider and we had a photo booth that snaps pictures for good memories. After the party with songs and games, each student got their treat bag. Everyone went out of the venue smiling. Thank you dear parents for your attendance and cooperation.

This week we started with our line of inquiry number two; Ways to communicate with others. We talked about different ways to communicate without words. Teacher gave a situation like, when your mum takes you to a toy store and you want her to buy you a toy, how do you communicate with your mum without words? At first Aurora students said, I don’t know, but after the teacher challenged them to think, one of the students said, point! Yes, that’s right point with a finger. Teacher gave many situations and students were able to think the answer to communicate without words like, hug, kiss, cry, nod head, shake head, make x-hand sign, smile, frown, etc. Well done, Aurora. You are thinkers!

We also had a Swimming lesson this week. Aurora students were brave enough to put their face down and some students could even submerge their head under the water. Bravo Aurora! You are risk-takers.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone.
