Things are starting to get busier and busier for our students this week. We have started practicing for the play and choosing the roles. We are dividing the class in half as well for the music performance which they have been doing a great job practicing for during our music class.
クリスマスショーに向けての練習が始まり、忙しい毎日を過ごしています。ショーで行う劇の練習を始め、それぞれの役目も決まってきました。またミュージックレッスンで練習している曲演奏に向けても、クラスを半分に分けベルとカスタネットのどちらを演奏するか決めています。
This week we also made a thank you card for the JA representative that came to help us with our sweet potatoes. The students had so much fun and since we have been learning about positive communication, we decided this would be a nice thing to do to communicate our thanks to JA for helping us.
また今週は、さつまいもの育て方を教えてくださったJAのもてきさんに向けて、お礼のカードを作りました。さつまいも型に切った紙に色塗りをしたり、出来る子は自分の名前やお礼の言葉を書いて、それを大きな紙に貼ってカードを作りました。良いコミュニケーションについて学んでいるので、お手伝いしてくださったもてきさんにお礼を言うことも、学習のひとつになったかと思います。カードはMs.Shizukaが直接もてきさんにお渡ししました。
Since starting our new unit we have had so many more positive communications between the students. They are learning quickly. After the lessons on Thursday and Friday, we have been going to the park.
新しいユニットの学習を始めてから、子供たち同士の間でよいコミュニケーションがたくさん生まれています。オーロラさんは新しいことを学ぶのがとても早いです！木曜、金曜はUOIのレッスンをした後、公園に出かけました。
After our lesson on Friday we took the bus to the park. We went to a park that was further away because we needed to collect a lot of leaves for our craft next week. The park we usually go to didn’t have the leaves we needed. They had so much fun collecting them and most of the students filled their bag all the way. After collecting the leaves, we were able to play on the play structure. The students were so excited every time a train went by. We all had a great time!
金曜日は来週行うクラフトに使う落ち葉を集めるため、いつも行っている公園より少し遠い公園にバスで出かけました。いつも行く公園は落ち葉があまりないのです。色々な色、大きさ、形の葉があり、みんな喜んで落ち葉を集めて、持って行った袋をいっぱいにしていました。落ち葉を集めた後は、公園の遊具で遊びました。駅の近くだったので、電車が通るたび大興奮でした！
