This week was full of challenges for Milky Way Class – Challenges like that of the Olympics! 🙂
今週はまるでオリンピックのような、いろいろなチャレンジを行いました！
まずはクラスの掃除の様子をお届けします！
The unit is about teamwork, and there is no better way to practice teamwork than giving the class problems to solve and goals to reach.
このユニットのテーマはチームワークです。チームワークを実践するために、いろいろな問題や課題を出して、設定したゴールに向かって取り組みました。
The first challenge is called the Spaghetti challenge: Each team needed to make a tower using a limited number of “pasta” and tape. As expected, no team finished the game, but that does not mean the activity was a failure because the real goal was to produce conflicts among the team members and teams. We then reflected and talked about the problems that arose and why they happened.
最初のチャレンジは「スパゲッティ・チャレンジ」✨各チーム、限られた数のパスタとテープを使ってタワーを作るというものです。予想通り、タワーを作ることができたチームはありませんでしたが、本当の目的はメンバーやチーム間の対立を生み出すことだったので、このチャレンジが失敗だったというわけではありません。そして、発生した問題を振り返りながら、なぜそのようなことが起こったのかを話し合いました。
The other challenges were: Flag making challenge, Ball balance challenge, pass the water challenge, and solving the puzzle challenge. Each team is so motivated in winning each game to gather points and win the Milky Way House Cup – another challenge where teamwork is vital and working together is a must. Who’s gonna get the title? We will find out in September at the end of the Unit.
他にも「フラッグ・チャレンジ」「ボール・バランス・チャレンジ」「パス・ザ・ウォーター・チャレンジ」「パズル・チャレンジ」を行いました。どのチームも、チャレンジでポイント（スター）をゲットしてMilky Way House Cupで優勝するためにとっても張り切っています。協力とチームワークがとても重要になるこれらのチャレンジで、優勝するのはどのチームでしょうか？このユニットが終わる9月に発表するのでお楽しみに😊
This week was the last day of our friend, who joined us for only a month. She will go back to her home country and continue her studies there. We all hope that she’ll remember us at ISN and will treasure all the memories we made together!
そして金曜日は、1ヶ月一緒に過ごしたお友達の最終日でした。母国アメリカの学校へ戻りますが、ISNでの思い出を大切にしてくれることを願っています！
