Hello everyone,
The week goes by quickly and we have beautiful days together. The weather was relatively cooler and we were able to take a walk and play in the yard. Along the way, we have seen a lot of flowers blooming, butterflies flying, cool water flowing along the canal, and a frog and tadpoles swimming. Those views make us feel cooler.
一週間があっという間に過ぎ、素敵な日々を一緒に過ごしています。今週は比較的涼しく、散歩をしたり、園庭で遊んだりすることができました！お散歩の際には、途中たくさんの花が咲き、蝶が飛び、水路に水が流れ、カエルやオタマジャクシが田んぼを泳いでいるのを見かけました。そんな景色は私たちを涼しい気持ちにさせてくれます。
Fruits lesson
Every day is an exciting day for us. Meadow class loves learning about fruits. This month, we are learning the phrase ” It’s a/an….apple! strawberry! and many more fruits. We practice saying this phrase every day before we start the activity. We did the fruit shadow matching and the fruit juice making. We have set of the “Fruit juice shop” and asked each student to order the juice they like. After they chose the fruit they like, we asked them ” What fruit is it? ” And we encourage them to answer ” It’s a/ an…. apple, strawberry, etc. And after that, they put it in the mixer and we used soft paper to make juice: red for strawberry, yellow for banana, orange for orange, and many more. They enjoyed the activity and wants to try it many times. After they have got their juice, they enjoyed sipping it with a straw and said “It’s yummy!”
■フルーツのレッスン こどもたちにとって毎日わくわくの連続です！Meadowクラスは、フルーツについて学ぶのが大好き。今月は「It’s a/an…apple！strawberry！」というフレーズを学んでいます。毎日、アクティビティを始める前に、このフレーズを言う練習をしています！今週はフルーツのシルエット合わせやジュース作りなどをしました。「フルーツジュース屋さん」では、子どもたちに好きなジュースを注文してもらいます。好きなフルーツを選んだら、「What fruit is it？」 と尋ね、「It’s an apple！」「It’s a strawberry！」などと答えるように促します。赤はイチゴ、黄色はバナナ、オレンジはオレンジなど、お花紙をミキサーの中に入れてさまざまな色のジュースを作りました。子どもたちはこのアクティビティをとっても楽しんでくれて、何度もやりたがっています。出来上がったジュースをストローで飲み、「It’s yummy！」と言って楽しんでいました！
Classroom Activities on rainy days
Toilet paper roll grapes. Our youngsters enjoyed painting the roll paper with purple and green colors. We showed them the picture of grapes and they were able to picture out what to make. They enjoyed dipping their hands in the paint and stamping it on a toilet roll paper.
■トイレットペーパーの芯でぶどう作り トイレットペーパーの芯に、紫や緑の色で色塗りをしました！ぶどうのイラストを見せると、何を作るかイメージすることができました。指先や手のひらを絵の具に浸して、ペタペタと色塗りを楽しみました♬ みんな色塗りが大好きで真剣な表情です！
Playing with clay. Playing with clay is fun and is great for the child’s development. Children can strengthen sensory skills as they learn to manipulate different objects and shapes. Our youngsters enjoyed pressing, rolling, and shaping the clay into the objects they imagined and wanted to make. Some kids said ” I’m making eggs! “I’m making a bracelet!” A tree, an elephant! It has a calming effect on the children and is a healthy outlet for emotions.
■粘土遊び 粘土遊びは楽しく、そして子どもの発達に最適です。子どもたちは、さまざまな物や形を操ることを学びながら、感覚的な能力の発達を促すことができます。みんな粘土を押したり、コロコロ転がしたり、自分たちが想像したものに形を変えたりして楽しんでいました！何人かは「Eggつくる〜！」とか「Braceletつくる！」など言ったり、「Tree！」「Elephant！」声に出しながら作りました。粘土はこどもの心を落ち着かせ、健やかな情緒を引き出してくれる効果があります。
Babidi, Bibidi, Boo!
Meadow class made magic! We prepared plastic bottles and filled them with water. We applied the paint to the inner part of the lid without the children’s knowledge. Then closed the lid of plastic bottles and we shook them together saying “Babidi! Babidi! Boo!” They were amazed when the clear water turned red, orange, pink, and blue. They were surprised and said, “It’s blue! It’s red!” Then they decorated the bottle with stickers and it looked like a fish! Great job, Meadow!
■ビビデバビデブゥ！ Meadowが魔法をかけました♪「ビビデバビデブゥ！」と魔法の言葉をみんなで唱えてから水の入ったペットボトルを振ると、なんと透明だった水が赤、オレンジ、ピンク、青に変化しました！みんな「Blueだ！」「Redになった〜！」と色の変化にびっくり。実はボトルのフタの内側に、子どもたちが知らないうちに絵の具を塗っておいたのです…！その後はボトルにシールを貼って、魚のようにデコレーションしました。立体的なクラフトは楽しくて、みんな出来上がった魚をとても気に入ってくれました♡メドー、がんばったね！
Music Class
We were just amazed to see our little ones participating actively in the music class. Please have a glance at how they are doing.
