This week has been so much fun. The students were learning all about seeds and how they grow. There was a class discussion on what plants need.今週は楽しい1週間となりました。子供達は、種子と植物の成長について学びました。植物には何が必要かをディスカッションしました。
The first activity the students started an experiment. There are four groups and each group is taking care of a sprout. Each week they will change the water and see how it grows. We will take pictures of it every week to document it. Each group is keeping their sprouts in a different place. One is outside, one is outside but in the dark, one is inside, and the last one is inside in the dark. We will see which sprout grows the best.初めの活動は、子供達が実験をする事でした。４つのグループに分かれて、植物を育てます。毎週子供達は水をあげて、成長を記録します。各グループは自分達が育てている植物を別々の場所に置きます。２つを外に置き、一方は暗くします。２つを室内に置き、一方を暗くします。これら４つの植物のうち、どの環境下が一番よく育つのかを観察していきます。
The following lessons the students learned about seeds. They watched videos showing how plants grow. We also discussed the different parts seeds have and how to plant and take care of them. We also encouraged them to bring in their own seeds if they would like to and we can plant them together to see how they grow. This is optional.このレッスンで子供達は種子について学び、どのように育つのかを説明しているビデオを観ました。種の構造をみたり、育て方を学び、どのように手をかけてあげるのかを学びました。もし、自分で育てたい植物があれば種を持ってきて一緒に育てましょうと、話しました。
