Hi everyone. We hope everyone had a fantastic holiday. This week we looked at buildings where we can buy things as well as the people who work in them. We also did a small reading exercise related to buildings and what we do there. We wrote the letter G for our phonics and writing practice.
We started a new book ” I can Hop” for our reading. We will read this book for this week and next week. Thank you to all the parents who keep on reading with our students at home. They are really getting much better. We hope everyone have a nice weekend.

さてお盆明けの今週は、、、
IBでは引き続き「Local Map 私たちの街」と題して、街にある様々な建物をカテゴリー別に学んでいます。今週は「Buying / Selling Buildings」に焦点を当て、
スーパーでは何が買うことが出来るのか？パンを買うためにはどこへ行ったらいいのか？等みんなで話し合いました。また、来週にはお店にはどんな物が置いてあるのか、どんな人が働いているのか、お客さんと働く人の役割など、具体的に学んでいく予定です！
フォニックスではGの音とそれに関する単語を学び、またリーディングも進んでいます。
そしてそして、今週から３週間後に迫った運動会に向けて、みんなで気合を入れて練習しています♪
パラバルーンも玉入れもかけっこも、どの競技もみんな大好きで、「練習するよ～」と声をかけると「やったーーーーー！」と毎回大喜びです！
保護者の方には衣装作りのご協力ありがとうございます。スクールでも子ども達と一緒にハワイのフラダンスのネックレス「レイ」をみんなで作りました！
とってもカラフルにかわいく作れたので、本番をぜひお楽しみに♪していて下さい！！
