Welcome to our second week blog for the month of April.
Last week, Shooting Star reviewed their roles in Aurora class. This week, we focused on understanding the learner profile that will gear us into a new set of roles that we need to implement in our class. Having said that, we began to pick out balanced, risk-taker, caring, and communicator. Teachers prepared some pictures that describe the learner profile and gave them to students, then, after explaining what’s on the picture to students, they began to think which learner profile it belongs and placed the picture around the learner profile.

先週、シューティングスターはオーロラクラスでどんなことをしていたのか、「役割」について復習しました。そして今週は、IBラーナープロファイルを理解することに重点をおいています。バランスのとれた人ってどんな人？リスクテイカーって何？思いやりをもつ人はどんなことができる？、知識のある人ってどういうこと？と、ラーナープロファイルひとつひとつについて考えました。IBラーナープロファイルを説明する写真を何枚か用意して子どもたちにに渡し、その写真に描かれていることが、どのラーナープロファイルに属するか考え、写真をソーティングしました。すると、子どもたちから生活する中で”Look, I clean up nicely” “Im sitting nicely, Im balanced”と声が聞かれるようになりました。みんなシューティングスターさんとして頑張っています💛
For our phonics, we reviewed the uppercase letters A-I through play. Students have a ball and put it in a box with the uppercase letter mentioned by the teacher. Students listened carefully and went around to find the box with correct uppercase letter.
Finally, we spent most of the time playing inside and outside the classroom.

フォニックスでは、遊びを通して大文字のA～Iを復習しました。子どもたちはボールを持ち、先生が言ったアルファベットを聞き取り、その文字が書かれたボックスに入れるアクティビティーで盛り上がりました。また、外遊びや公園にも出かけ、桜やチューリップ、すいせん等「春」をたくさん見つけました🌸
