Rainforest learns about cycles and patterns

We are learning about patterns and cycles as part of our new inquiry unit: Patterns
and cycles help us understand the world.

This week the children drew pictures of the different seasons of the year, their
different schedules between sunrise and sunset and the water cycle.

We have enjoyed learning about patterns in math and nature such as the hexagonal shapes in
the nest of a wasp; a spider’s web; a peacock’s feather and a chameleon’s scales.

Thank-you to all the parents who brought boxes for their child’s diorama!
