Hello everyone!🤗
This week was a little busy for everyone here at ISN because of the upcoming Sports Festival. Everybody went to our first rehearsal at the gym and did their best to do what’s in the program. We are all excited for the big day!🥳

スポーツ フェスティバルが目前に迫り、スクールのみんなにとって、少し忙しい一週間でした。 全員が体育館でのリハーサルに参加し、プログラム通りにできるように最善を尽くしました。 みんな大切なその日を楽しみにしています!
In UOI, we continued to learn about how farm animals help people, which is mainly by giving us products or things that we can use in our daily lives. We watched some videos on how chickens lay eggs and how we shear wool from sheeps. Everybody knew that eggs come from chickens (hen) and their favorite fried chicken or karaage chicken. Yummm! They also made some eggs using paper clay and made a nest for our new pet chicken. They also found out that pork, bacon, ham, and sausage come from pigs through a picture guessing game. We discovered how wool could turn into scarves, jackets, and sweaters which are very helpful during winter seasons. Each of them also tried to take off wool from our class’ sheep. They were very careful in taking off the wool and made sure that they wouldn’t hurt the sheep. How caring!🤩
UOI では、主に日常生活で使う食品や製品を提示することで、家畜が人間をどのように助けてくれているかについて学び続けました。 ニワトリがどのように卵を産むか、羊の毛刈はどのような工程で行われるかについての教材ビデオを見ました。 卵や彼らの好きなフライドチキンやからあげがニワトリ（雌鶏）から得られることは、誰もが知っていました。ふふーん！ 彼らはまた、紙粘土を使っていくつかの卵と、私たちの新しい仲間のニワトリのために巣を作りました。 彼らはまた、イラスト当てゲームを通じて、豚肉、ベーコン、ハム、ソーセージが豚に由来することを発見しました。毛糸がどのようにして冬の季節にとても役立つマフラーやジャケット、セーターに変わるかを発見しました。 子ども達はオーロラクラスの羊から羊毛を刈る作業をしました。羊毛を剥ぐ時には細心の注意を払い、羊を傷つけないようにしました。 なんて思いやりのある子ども達でしょう！
Now, Aurora students are enjoying playing with the products or things we learned from UOI. That’s why we decided to make our class’ grocery store. They pretend to buy and sell eggs, cheese, milk, ice cream, chocolate, yogurt, cookies, sausage, bacon, and meat. And they use the blocks as money to pay for their shopping. We are so glad to see them enjoying their free play while keeping learning on the toys they are playing with.👏
今、Aurora の子ども達は、UOI から学んだ食品や製品で遊ぶことを楽しんでいます。 そこで、クラスのスーパーマーケットを作ることにしました。 卵、チーズ、牛乳、アイスクリーム、チョコレート、ヨーグルト、クッキー、ソーセージ、ベーコン、肉を売買するごっこ遊びをしています。 そして、丸いブロックをお金として買い物の支払いに使っています。 おもちゃを使い、学びながら自由遊びを楽しんでいる姿を見て、とてもうれしく思います。
In Phonics, we learned about the letter Nn as in nose, nurse, net, nest, necklace, and numbers. We also played the letter Nn Scavenger Hunt at the school yard which made our students more excited and had so much fun. Because we did it outside, our students were able to make bigger movements or run around while searching for the letters which is a good physical activity too. They also finished tracing uppercase letter N. I could see how they improved their handwriting because they were able to follow the number guide in writing the letter. Great job, Aurora!⭐
フォニックスでは、 nose（花）, nurse（看護師）, net（ネット）, nest（巣）, necklace（ネックレス）, numbers（数字）などのアルファベット N・n について学びました。 園庭でアルファベットのN・n の書かれたカードを探し出すゲームを催し、子ども達は大興奮で楽しみました。屋外で行ったので、文字を探しながら体を大きく動かしたり、走り回ったりして、いい運動にもなりました。 また、大文字の N のライティングも完了しました。書き順の示された数字の案内に沿って文字を書くことができたため、手書きが改善されたことがわかります。よく出来たね！オーロラ!
This week’s craft is for our loving grandparents because September 19th is the day we honor our grandparents. They made a clay photo frame and decorated it with various sequins and small animals. We will put their photo on it and give it away to their grandparents. Hope you’ll like it!🥰
Our boys and girls enjoyed singing “Do you have crayons?” song pretending we have a singing contest in our class!🎤🎶
9 月 19 日は「敬老の日」なので、今週のクラフトは愛するおじいちゃん、おばあちゃんの為のものを作りました。 紙粘土でフォトフレームを作り、いろんなスパンコールや小動物で飾りました。 本人の写真を入れて、おじいちゃんやおばあちゃんにプレゼントします。 気に入っていただけると幸いです!
