Hello to a new week, from Grade 3. This week began with a new tune, as we started reading and practicing the script. It was much anticipated by the students, but well received.
Grade3の新しい週が始まりました。今週は新しい曲で始まり、台本の読み合わせと練習を始めました。生徒たちはまだかまだかと待ち望んでいましたので、喜んで練習を始めました。
The week continued as we practiced the script, but also made some much needed changes as there were a few terms and vocabulary that was challenging.
この週は、スクリプトの練習を続けましたが、いくつかの用語やボキャブラリーが難しかったので、必要な変更を加えました。
What has been a surprise this week is how well the class has progressed, remembered and enjoyed the song that will be in the play. We started practicing the song on Tuesday, and it was a little bit a struggled at first. The timing of the song was a little challenging, as the students could not get in tune together but from Wednesday and moving onto Thursday, the students have gotten stronger and more fluid with the song. It has become much better.
今週驚いたのは、クラスの皆さんが劇中に登場する歌をどれだけ上達し、覚え、楽しんでいるかということです。火曜日に曲の練習を始めて、最初は少し苦労しました。しかし、水曜日から木曜日にかけて、生徒たちはより強く、よりスムーズに歌えるようになり、とても良くなりました。
As we continued with the week, on Thursday, the students were also tasked with practicing in teams as that would build chemistry and an understanding between each other which is very important for performing a play as a team. That has been very good as we enjoyed this activity.
この週に引き続き、木曜日には、グループに分かれて、お互いのキャラクターを理解しながら練習することが課題でした。これは皆んなで芝居をする上でとても重要なことです。生徒たちはこのアクティビティーをとても楽しみながら行いました。
Next week, we will continue to practice and remembering our script. We will also begin practicing the actions and stage movements.
来週はセリフを覚えることを中心に演技や動きなども入れながら取り組んでいきます。
