What a perfect day! Everyone had a wonderful time. First we had our morning tea and then we found the fastest route to the roller coaster rides. We learned how to use the machine to buy our tickets and then after choosing a friend to ride with we were off, speeding down the roller coaster track. It was definitely a great start to our day. We then played on some of the equipment and had some games on one of the big grass areas. Sitting in the warm sun, we laid out our picnic sheets and had a delicious lunch. We then explored a different play area and some students conquered a few challenging play structures they hadn’t been able to complete in the past. Finally we slid down the long, long roller slides, and even though the walk back up to the top of this slide was tiring, all students completed the slide 3 or 4 times.
At school next week we will enjoy looking through the photos and writing down some of our memories of this perfect day.
