Helping hands from the past

In Elementary Class we are investigating what some people in the past have done that helps us today.
Here are the names of some of the people we have been reading about: Helen Keller, Albert Einstein, Jane Goodall, Michelangelo Buonarroti, Rachel Carson, Grandma Moses, and Ludwig van Beethoven.
Helen Keller became blind and deaf when she was only 18 months old but she lived a long life and learned many things. From reading about her we are learning that if you let others help you, and if you try hard, you will succeed.
Grade 2, 3 and 4 students have been studying the ancient civilization of Egypt. In this study there are many things that we can learn: how to use the water from the river for irrigation.
In our classroom we have been putting lots of events onto our time-line.
Wow! We are surprised at how many things we have done this year.
Our typing lessons on the computer are going very well. We are practicing the home row. Some students have reached high scores in WPM and Accuracy.
Well done Elementary Class!
