Hello, everyone!
This week’s artist is Mr. Wassily Kandisnky.
We experienced making an artwork while listening to different kinds of music. This painter taught us that it is possible to see colors when hearing the music as well as hear music when looking at a picture.
皆さんこんにちは。今週学んだアーティストは、ワシリー・カンディンスキー氏です。彼の手法に習い、いろいろな音楽を聴きながら作品を作ってみました。このアーティストは、音楽を聴くと色が見えたり、絵を見ると音楽が聞こえたりすることを教えてくれました。
We were able to create our own painting individually and tried to compare the feelings we had when we painted our two artworks. Seeing our painting move to the music was exciting. We also tried to imagine the different colors each musical instrument would produce as well as the shapes. Mixing the colors and deciding what color to use for each shape and stroke were things that we also have to decide.
各自2つの絵を描き、それらの作品を描いたときの気持ちを比較してみました。音楽に合わせて自分の絵が動くのを見て感動しました。また、楽器が作り出す色や形を想像しながら描きました。どの色を混ぜるか、形や筆の色も、自分たちで決めました。
Kandinsky is truly a genius painter. Though he was already of age when he decided to pursue his love for art, still he became very successful with his work. We hope to become successful someday just like him maybe in the same or different field as long as we also get to pursue our passion.
カンディンスキーはまさに天才的な画家でした。彼がアートへの情熱を追い続けようと決意したとき、すでに年齢を重ねていましたが、その作品で大成功を収めました。私達も、自分達の情熱を追求してどんな分野でも、いつか彼のように成功したいと思っています。
