It has been a very busy week but fun. We started practicing for the Christmas performance twice a day now. The students are showing commitment towards practicing and getting everything right. They also have a lot of enthusiasm. I appreciate everyone’s hard work and look forward to showing you all how hard your children have been practicing.
This week we did a fun activity listening to the different sounds instruments make. I hid behind the white board and played different instruments for them and they had to guess which one was which. Everyone was participating and looked like they enjoyed the activity. The next UOI this week we will listen to different songs and they will guess which instruments are in the song.
We also went to the park this week. We weren’t able to go last week so it was nice to get the students outside. They had a lot of fun.
Our craft this month, we will use different types of leaves and paint them to make a stamp. The students will be able to use these to decorate their paper with different shapes and colors. Half of the students will make the craft this week and the other half will make them next week.
Also this week, we are excited to have two new students with us and are excited to get to know our new friends. Have a great weekend Aurora parents!
