Warm greetings to you all and we would like to welcome the new 19 members of Aurora class here in ISN. We are happy to see that all of them are very excited and proud to be part of our class!
皆様、こんにちは。オーロラクラスに新しい19人のメンバーを迎えます。 子ども達が、このクラスの一員であることを楽しみにし、誇らしく思っていることを嬉しく思います！
For this school year, Aurora class has 3 homeroom teachers and we are Ms. Fronie, Ms. Sayuri, and Ms. Emi. We will do our best to provide your children the learning and care they need for their growth.
本年度のオーロラクラスの担任は、私達MS.Fronie, Ms.Sayuri, Ms.Emiの3名が務めます。私達は、子ども達の成長に必要な学習とケアの提供に最善を尽くします。
Since this is their first time to be in one class together, we want them to know each other more by calling their friends by their names and remembering their own name marks. Ms. Emi and Ms. Sayuri showed their name marks one by one and they guessed whose mark it is. Then, they stuck their name tag on the chair they will be using the whole year.
同じクラスになるのは初めてなので、友達の名前を呼んだり、自分の名前マークを覚えたりして、お互いをもっと知ってもらいたいと思っています。えみ先生とさゆり先生が、子ども達の名前マークを一人ずつに見せ、そのマークか誰のものなのか、みんなで推測したりしました。 そして、これから一年間、自分が使う椅子に名前とマークシールを貼りました。
Aurora class is very different from nursery classes. Now, they have a bigger classroom, and big tables/chairs. Because of that, some of them are likely to run around, climb up their tables/chairs and have difficulty sitting nicely. We always remind them of the consequences of those actions for them to understand that they may get hurt by doing those.
オーロラクラスは、保育クラスとは異なります。 大きな教室と大きなテーブル/椅子を使っています。 そのため、子ども達の中には、走り回ったり、テーブルや椅子に登ったり、うまく座ることが難しい子もいます。 私達は、それらの行動によって怪我をする可能性があることを子ども達が理解できるよう、常に 行動と結果について再確認を促してゆきます。
We also informed them of new rules for playing in the schoolyard such as no hiding in between the pine trees, no running across the sandpit, no running while holding each other’s hands, and using the tire swing one at a time and learning to wait for their turn by counting up to 20.
また、木の間に隠れたり、砂場を横切ったり、手をつないで走ったり、タイヤ遊具を一人ずつ使い、待つことを学んだりするなど、園庭で遊ぶための新しいルール：20まで数えることによって順番が回ってくることなどを伝えました。
Another big change we have in Aurora is how to unpack their stuff in the morning, how to get ready for lunch, and how to brush their teeth. They are still in the adjustment period regarding these things and they will learn more about this matter next week, and soon they will get used to it and be able to do it smoothly and independently.
オーロラでのもう1つの大きな変化は、朝の荷物の開梱の仕方、ランチの準備の仕方、そして歯の磨き方です。 これらはまだ調整期間にありますが、来週もっと学びます。子ども達は、すぐに慣れ、スムーズにそして自立的にそれらを行うことができるようになるでしょう。
