Hello Aurora parents! I’ve been having a great time getting to know the students. They’re all so much fun. This week we have been going for walks and playing outside. We have been practicing how to walk in a straight line holding our friend’s hands. They have been doing a great job. We walk down the street and back or practice at the park before playing.
オーロラ保護者の皆さま、こんにちは。新しいオーロラさん達と過ごすのはとても楽しい日々です。今週はお散歩や外遊びを楽しみました。お友達と手をつないでまっすぐに歩く練習もしていて、みんなとても頑張っています。道路で歩く練習をしたり、バスで公園に行ったときは自由遊びをする前に歩く練習をしています。
Today was our first day to walk to the park and they did a great job. The park we walked to is right next to Tokyo Interior so it was a nice long walk. They had a lot of fun playing on the slide and other equipment.
今日は初めて行く公園に行きましたが、みんな上手に歩けていました。東京インテリアのすぐ隣の公園まで行ったので、かなりの距離を歩きました。公園では滑り台や遊具で遊んで思いっきり楽しんできました。
Tuesday we did a painting craft. Since it’s spring and the Sakura are blooming, we did a craft based on that. The students put their hands into pink paint and put them on white paper. Later the paper was cut to look like Sakura and placed on the wall.
火曜日はクラフトをしました。春になり桜がきれいに咲いているので、桜の花のクラフトをしました。手のひらにピンクの絵の具をつけて、白い紙に手形をたくさんつけました。みんなで手形をつけた紙を切って、壁にさくらを咲かせました！
Friday we plan on doing a Easter Egg Hunt inside since the forecast says it will rain. Half of the students will hide the eggs while the other half look for them. The eggs will also have letters on them. The students will tell us the letter written on the egg and then keep the sticker inside.
金曜日は雨の予報なので、室内でイースターエッグハントをする予定です。クラスを半分に分け、最初のグループが卵を教室のどこかに隠し、もう一つのグループのお友達に探してもらいます。それぞれの卵にはアルファベットが書かれていて、その文字を読めたら中のシールがもらえることになっています。
