This week has been fun and exciting. On Monday Ms Shizuka and I had a meeting with Mr Jimmy so Ms. Marlyn and Ms. Mika were substituting in Aurora. They took the students to the park with rainbow and had a lot of fun. Ms Shizuka, Mr Jimmy and I finished planning the first unit of this year and we are very excited. It will be a fun time learning about ourselves.
今週も楽しいことがたくさんの週になりました。月曜日は、Ms.Shizukaと私がMr.Jimmyとのミーティングだったため、Ms.Marlyn とMs.Mikaにクラスをみてもらいました。レインボーさん達と一緒に公園に連れて行ってもらい、楽しい時間を過ごせたようです。ミーティングでは今年度最初に学ぶユニット”We are similar and different”について計画を立てました。自分たちのことをよく知るレッスンは楽しい時間になるだろうと、担任一同今からわくわくしています。
Tuesday was the Welcome Ceremony where we got to meet our new Aurora friends and Wednesday was the first class we had together. Our craft for that day was making silhouettes. The students laid down on a piece of paper while I traced around them. It was a nice indoor activity since it was raining that day.
火曜日は入園式があり、新しくオーロラさんに仲間入りしたお友達と初めて対面しました。水曜日からみんなと一緒の生活をスタートしています。その日は雨だったので室内でシルエットを作るクラフトをしました。子供たちは大きな紙の上に大の字に寝転び、Ms.Courtneyが体のシルエットをなぞりました。シルエットを切り取ったものを完成次第貼りだしますので、お迎えの際など見てくださいね。
Thursday we went to the park. We were able to practice walking first before we played on the play structure. There was also a sand pit there which some of the students really enjoyed playing in.
木曜日は公園に行きました。遊具で遊ぶ前に手をつないで歩く練習もすることが出来ました。公園には砂場もあり、お砂場遊びを楽しむ子もいました。
Friday we will play outside and continue our silhouette craft since some of the students weren’t able to complete it on Tuesday.
金曜日は外遊びをする予定です。シルエットがまだ出来ていないお友達もいるので、シルエット作りも引き続き行います。
