Hi everyone!
This week was a special one because our youngsters experienced milking a cow!
In our UOI, we are learning about the ways to care for animals. As part of the lesson, we decided to invite a staff from JA to bring a life size model milking cow to our campus and let our little ones experience how to milk it. Our young ones enjoyed this activity a lot! They said, “it was fun!”, “it’s big!” “I like milk!”. They were so amazed!
Aurora students did well in milking the cow! Here’s a glimpse of our cow milking experience and some photos from our snack time while drinking a very refreshing cow’s milk! Enjoy!!!
みなさん、こんにちは！ 今週は特別な1週間でした。牛の乳搾りを体験したからです。 子ども達はUnit-2の探求で動物のお世話の仕方について学んでいます。 授業の一環として、ＪＡの方をお招きし、実物大の搾乳牛模型で乳搾り体験させてもらいました。 子ども達はこの活動に大喜びでした。 「楽しかった！」「大きかった！」「牛乳大好き！」などと言ってました。 オーロラ達は牛の乳搾りが上手にできました！その牛の乳搾り体験の様子と、ひんやり爽やかな牛乳を飲みながら、スナックタイムを楽しんだ様子をご紹介します。 楽しみ下さい！！！
STRANGER-DANGER
We conducted a stranger-danger drill in our campus. Our young ones learned what a stranger is and the things they need to do when somebody who they do not know personally approach them such as:
-Do not open the door to a stranger;
-Do not take anything from a stranger;
-Do not get in the car with a stranger;
-Do not talk to strangers;
-Run away quickly and ask for help;
-Always stay with your parents and teachers.
不審者の危険： 私たちは不審者想定の訓練を実施しました。 子ども達は、見知らぬ人とは何か、そして見知らぬ人が近づいてきた時にどうするべきか・・を学びました。 – 知らない人にドアを開けない - 知らない人から物をもらわない -知らない人の車に乗らない – 知らない人と話さない - すぐに逃げて助けを求める、-常に家族や先生と一緒にいる、などです。
