Milky Way students enjoyed an another short, but exciting week. The nice and sunny weather continued this week as well, so we all enjoyed our playtime outside.
The students learned about maps and map-making in Science and everyone enjoyed making their own maps of the school, ranging from the very detailed to the very creative ones.
In Art, the children got a chance to learn about some famous artworks and have their own take at creating a version of them. They also learned about emotions portrayed in the artworks and what type of lines and colours do the artist use when they want to represent a certain emotion. Some of the children expressed their wish to be designers in the future!
Math was focused on reviewing 2D and 3D shapes and in Music everyone is working hard in practicing for their Christmas performance.
We have chosen the roles for our Christmas musical play „Hansel and Gretel“ and the children are looking forward to learning their lines and performing the play.
