Hello everyone,
Here’s another fun week here in Rainbow.
As days go by, kids are getting used to school life gradually. We could see smiles on their faces when they came in the morning. We can hear their big voices during our circle time, They get used to eating the food served at lunch and they get along playing with their friends. Kids also remember the everyday routine we do. We are glad most kids are excited to attend school every day. Here‘s the circle time photos when we asked them about their feelings.
みなさん、こんにちは。レインボークラスではまた楽しい一週間が始まりました。 日に日に子ども達は少しずつスクール生活に慣れてきました。 朝の登園時、みんなの顔に笑顔を見ることができます。 朝・夕の会では大きな声が聞こえます。給食にも慣れ、友達とも仲良く遊んでいます。 日々の日課を覚え、ほとんどの子ども達が毎日スクールに通うのを楽しみにしていることを嬉しく思います。朝の会で （その日の）気持ちについて聞いた時の写真です。
Craft day
We want to be a part of the celebration of the coming ” Children’s Day” and we made a huge carp. The kids chose the color they wanted to paint on their hands. We took their colorful handprints, hung them to dry, and cut each to make a carp’s scales. They look so cute. We display it in front of the Rainbow classroom. Please have a look whenever you have time.
来たる「こどもの日」に向けて大きな”鯉のぼり”を作りました。 子ども達は好きな色を選んで使いました。カラフルな手形を乾燥させ、切り取って鯉の鱗を作りました。 とてもかわいいですね。 レインボーの教室前に飾ってあります。 お時間のある時にぜひご覧ください。
April Birthday Party
All classes gathered in the music room to have a party for the April-born students. Everybody sang a happy birthday song and asked some questions to the celebrants. Rainbow class has 4 birthday celebrants and they get a birthday card as a simple remembrance from their teacher. Happy happy birthday our dear students. We are excited to see your growth every day. Let’s enjoy playing and learning!
全クラスが音楽室に集まって、4月生まれのお友だちを祝うバースデーパーティーを行いました。 みんなでハッピーバースデーの歌を歌ったり、誕生日を迎えたお友だちに質問したりしました。 レインボークラスからも 4 人のお友だちが誕生日を迎え、先生からバースデー カードを受け取りました。 みんな、お誕生日おめでとう。 私達はみんなの日々の成長をとても楽しみにしています。 楽しく遊び、学びましょうね！
Color Activity
This month’s lesson is about colors and kids are almost familiar with the colors around them. When they make a line before we go outside, we ask them what color they like, and they step on the color they choose. By practicing this, they can be in the line in order and won’t make trouble pushing their friends. Good job, Rainbow!
Kids love singing the Rainbow song and can name the seven colors; red, yellow, pink, green, purple, orange, and blue. We did the color-matching activity. We stuck half of the flower on the wall. Kids picked another half of the flower and matched it to the same color on the wall. They were thrilled and were able to say the colors.
今月のレッスンは「色」についてですが、子ども達はもう身の周りの色に親しんでいます。外に出る前に並ぶ時、私達は好きな色の足形の上に並んでね、とお願いします。そうすることによって順番に並ぶことができ、お友だちを押したりするトラブルが起こりません。よくできました！レインボーさん!
子ども達は「虹の歌」を歌うのが大好きで、赤、黄、ピンク、緑、紫、オレンジ、青の7色を言うことができます。 色合わせのアクティビティーでは、花の半分を壁に貼り、子ども達がもう半分を摘み、同じ色の花に合わせました。 彼らは大喜びで、色を言うことができました。
It was a bright day, a perfect day to play outside. We did a short walking practice in the yard holding the rope. Kids listened to the instructions well and had a straight line following after their friends. We toured around the and spied some flowers around. After that, they enjoyed playing in the sandpit and some kids had a blast playing in the puddle.
この日は天気も良く、外で遊ぶのに最適な日でした。 庭でお散歩リングを持って短い歩行練習をしました。 子ども達は先生の話をよく聞き、友達の後を一直線について歩きました。周囲を散策し周りの花を観察しました。 その後は砂場で遊んだり、水たまりではしゃいで遊ぶ子もいました。
We spent our afternoon circle time for appreciating and thankng one of the friend who will transfer to another ISN campus from May. We just spent a very short time together and his friends showed their love to him. We made a crown and a colorful candy lei as a remembrance from us. His friends gave him a hug and said said ”Thank you… We love you❤️” We are looking forward to see you again.
私たちは午後のサークルタイムを使って、5 月から ISNの別 キャンパスに転校するお友だちに感謝の気持ちを伝える時間を持ちました。一緒に過ごした時間は短いものでしたが、お友だちは彼に愛情を示してくれました。 記念に王冠とキャンディレイを贈りました。お友だちは彼を抱きしめたり「ありがとう…愛しているよ❤️」と伝えました。また会える日を楽しみにしています。
