Good practice makes progress!
That is Aurora’s goal when it comes to improving their writing skills. In the past weeks, they tried tracing uppercase and lowercase letters and they were very at it. This time, they tried writing uppercase and lowercase letter Dd on their own. They are reminded to always follow the number and arrow guides in writing the letter and hold the pencil properly. Most of them did a great job in following instructions, but there are students who still needs more practice.
オーロラさんは、ライティングスキルを上達させるために、みんな一生懸命練習をしています。先週までは、大文字と小文字のアルファベットをなぞっていました。今週はアルファベットのDの大文字と小文字をなぞらずに自分で書く練習をしました。必ず数字の順番を守って、鉛筆を正しく持って、正しい姿勢で描く練習をしています。ほとんどの子どもが順序よく指示を守って書く事ができています👏もう少し練習をすれば全員上手に文字を書くことができるかな！？✏️
Aurora are practicing reading new CVC words with the vowel sound “e” such as pet, wet, jet, net, and vet. First, they tried saying the sound of each letter and tried to put them together to form the word. Few students are able to blend the sound and read the words correctly. Good job! Then, they matched the words with the pictures.
フォニックスでは引き続きCVCワードを読む練習をしています。今週は母音の”e”が入った単語です。まずは単語のアルファベットを順番に一つずつ発音していきます。そしてそれを三つくっつけて発音します。単語の発音の練習はこのように一文字ずつ発音していきます。数名の子どもはとても上手に読むことができています。発音の練習の後は、単語と絵のマッチングをしました！
In UOI, we finished the discussion on Desert, Ocean, and both Land and Ocean Animals. For the assessment, they answered a worksheet wherein they had to match the pictures of animals to their habitats. Most of them got all the correct answers. Well done, Aurora!
UOIでは砂漠、海、陸と海の動物達を学びました。アセスメントではワークシートのマッチングをしました。みんな動物にはとても興味があるようで、ほとんどの子どもがマッチングに正解しました！👏
The highlight at the gym was the snake rope activity and the most challenging for them was to jump over the rope quietly to keep the snake asleep. Students had fun with all the exercise, rope and running activities!
ジムレッスンでは、大縄跳びを使ってヘビさんゲームをしました。寝ている蛇さんを起こさないよう、しずかにジャンプしたり、低い蛇さんを上手にくぐったりして楽しいエクササイズができました😉
