We have started a new unit of inquiry this week all about stories. The unit is about how we express ourselves and the central idea is about how people have different ways of telling stories. Our first line of inquiry is all about the different ways of telling stories. The students brainstormed about different ways of telling stories. Some said books and movies. Other shared about their favorite stories. Afterwards the students talked about characters and drew their favorite ones. It was a great introduction.
今週から新しい単元に入りました。今回のメインはstoryです！”how we express ourselves””私達はどのように自分自身を表現するのか”、という単元に入り、人はどのようにストーリーを語るのかという事をセントラルアイディアとします。子供達はストーリーについてのブレインストームを先ず行いました。数名の子が物語や絵本を取り上げてくれました。また、何名かは、自分のお気に入りのお話をしてくれました。その後、お話に登場するキャラクターについて話し合い、自分の好きなキャラクターを絵に描いてみました。新しいユニットの導入はこのようにして行われました！
This week was supposed to be our bus trip but because of the rain we had to postpone till later in the month. Instead, the students had their bento lunches in the classroom. The lunches were so creative. I enjoyed looking at all of them.
今週はバス遠足に行くはずでしたが、雨の為延期になりました。この日はお弁当を持参し、クラスで楽しくいただきました。準備をして頂き、有難うございました。
