The UOI topic for this week was all about buildings for making things. We Talked about some buildings first but the next video we got to watch some videos. The first video was about a Lego factory. The students got to see how Legos are made. They were so excited the whole time! The next video we watched was about a bakery. They saw what ingredients you need and how to bake it. They liked them a lot and talked about the videos during the afternoon routine as well.
今週のトピックは物を作る為にある建物についてでした。まず初めに色々な建物について話し合い、その後ビデオを鑑賞しました。皆んなが大好きなLEGO工場です。どのようにしてLEGOが作られていくのか、工程を観察しました。もう一つのビデオは、ベーカリーです。パンにはどんな材料が必要で、どの様にしてパンが焼かれているかを観察しました。皆んなこのビデオ鑑賞をとても楽しみ、午後の活動中にもビデオ鑑賞について話していました。
The last project we did for this weeks topic was to make toys. Thank you so much to all the parents for sending in materials at the last minute. The students had so much fun making toys! They worked in groups of two to make them and they showed a lot of creativity. We are very proud.
最後のプロジェクトは、廃材でオモチャを作るというものでした。前日のお願いにも関わらず材料をお持ち頂き有難うございました。子供達はオモチャ作りを本当に楽しみました。クラスをオモチャ工場にみたて、2人づつのグループになり一つのオモチャを作りました。皆想像力を働かせて素晴らしいオモチャを作りました。
