Greetings from grade 3! This has been a very interesting week, with the grade 3s beginning the third and final Line Of Inquiry for unit 1, Migration. The previous have all been the different reasons people migrate. The focus has been on, economic, political, social and environmental reasons for migration. The students looked at the history of migration. We will look at the impact that Japanese big industries such as the automotive industry, food, anime and video gaming industries and the impact that these industries have had on the world. The students have been working on a slide show in groups, and there is great enthusiasm about the current activity.
皆さんこんにちは。今週のGrade3のクラスはとても面白い週になりました。3年生はユニット1「Migration(移民)」の最後のLine Of Inquiryを始めました。これまでのテーマは、人々が移住する様々な理由についてでした。経済的、政治的、社会的、環境的な理由に焦点を当て、移民の歴史を調べました。今回は自動車産業、食品、アニメ、ビデオゲーム産業などの日本の大きな産業が世界に与えた影響を見ていきます。生徒たちはグループに分かれて、熱心にスライドショーを作成しました。
This week has also been the beginning of mild preparations for the upcoming sports day, and it is safe to mention the rising excitement among the students.
