We had a fun day at the gym this week! First we did some stretching and warm ups to get everyone nice and warm. After that we did a fun dance with everyone. The students love this one the most since they get to act out different things and run around! We finished off with an leaping activity. The students would leap onto the platform with both hands and then get off. They all had a great time!
This week we started spelling three letter words. Most of the students can recognize a few words like cat and dog. We will continue this for a few more weeks. This week we only introduced it a little bit. We also continued with learning how to write our names.
The students walked to the park this week and we had a lot of fun! We played on the play structure and played tag as well. The students love getting chased around and it`s great exercise.
Next week I will be visiting the States to see family so Ms. Rieko will substitute for me. I will miss them all while I`m gone but will see everyone when I get back after vacation.
